Joseph Blankholm, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses primarily on atheism, secularism, and the meaning of religion.

Dusty Hoesly, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses on American religions and secularism, specializing in how minority religions and spiritual movements shape modern American culture.

Courtney Applewhite is a doctoral student in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research focuses on death rituals, spiritual but nonreligious people, and the cognitive science of religion. 

Samantha L. C. Kang is a doctoral student in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research focuses on Continental Philosophy of Religion and nostalgia.
